Our role
Representing students, strengthening professional readiness, and building a connected College of Law community.
Our history
2010
The Society was established in 2010 following the commencement of Afe Babalola University's law programme and the admission of its pioneer cohort of law students.
Founded in line with the educational vision of Aare Afe Babalola, SAN, LSS was created to complement academic training by cultivating leadership, advocacy, professionalism, discipline, character, and service.
It has evolved into a structured student body with executive and legislative arms, chambers, committees, academic programmes, advocacy activities, social events, sporting activities, and welfare initiatives. LSS continues to grow alongside the College of Law and the changing needs of its students.
Vision
To ensure that the quality of law students graduating from the ABUAD College of Law is unmatched worldwide, standing out as world-class legal practitioners and innovative entrepreneurs.
Mission
In line with ABUAD's commitment to academic excellence, character development, and moral uprightness, LSS advances the academic, professional, career, and personal development of its members while equipping them with analytical, critical-thinking, advocacy, communication, and leadership skills.
